His two most trusted advisors, Kalila and Dimna, were jackals renowned for their sharp minds and astute judgment. Kalila, the elder of the two, was a jackal of profound wisdom. His counsel was often sought by the king, and his words were always considered and insightful. Dimna's ambition began to take form as he started to spin a web of intrigue and deception.
