He insisted that Feyre must atone for her crime with her life, but offered an alternative: to live with him in his Spring Court in Prythian, for eternity. Reluctantly, Feyre was whisked away to the Spring Court, a realm of enchantment and splendor, a stark contrast to her life of struggle. Here, she discovered that the faeries were not the malevolent beings she had been led to believe. She also learned that Tamlin was not just a High Fae, but a High Lord, ensnared along with his court by a potent curse. As Feyre's days in Prythian lengthened, she found herself inexplicably drawn to Tamlin, her initial resentment gradually giving way to a strange affection. Their bond deepened, and Feyre experienced a sense of belonging she had never known. However, this tranquility was fleeting. She soon learned of an impending threat that endangered Prythian and the faeries she had grown fond of. The death of the faerie wolf had triggered a series of events that threatened to annihilate the faerie realm, and Feyre found herself at the epicenter of this brewing storm.
